With 40 years of experience in integrative orthopedic medicine, he served at Luoyang Orthopedic-Traumatologic Hospital of Henan Province (China's TCM Orthopedic Center) and Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, a top-tier (Grade A) hospital. During his career, he performed various spinal, joint, and trauma fracture surgeries while specializing in TCM orthopedic treatments such as acupuncture, tuina (manual therapy), and herbal medicine.
Dr. Cao apprenticed under renowned Chinese medicine masters for three years and further honed his expertise in TCM orthopedics over five years under a National TCM Master. He was selected to study at the Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics in the United States for a year.
As a professor and doctoral advisor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Dr. Cao held leadership roles, including Department Head and Discipline Leader of Orthopedics at Shenzhen TCM Hospital. He earned recognition as an Outstanding TCM Practitioner in Shenzhen and contributed significantly to the academic field. His positions include Vice President of the Orthopedics Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Executive Vice Chair of the World Manual Medicine Alliance, Vice President of Guangdong's Association for Integrated Orthopedic Sciences, and Chair of Shenzhen's TCM Orthopedics Committee.
Dr. Cao authored and edited key medical texts, including Diagnosis and Non-Surgical Treatment of Cervical and Lumbar Pain and 36 Techniques for Spinal Adjustment by National Master Wei Guikang, alongside co-editing four other works.
